If my opponent have 2 units in front of mine and it is obvious that he is baiting for my unit to charge his and he could charge in with his other unit - what is the best thing to do in this situation? If I don't charge I will be charged next turn but by only one unit and i won't get ganged up but I will take casualties first. I could try to cover my flanks and counter charge him after he charges but that is if i have an available unit there. Any suggestions from veterans? Assume my unit is slightly better than his in combat but cant take it from both sides.

If you are better you could back off and make sure both units are in your front arc. That way you can defeat both of them.
You could bring up another unit to turn the tables on them, flee and flank with your own.
You could charge one and throw something supportave in front of hte second so he cant hit you.
Thats prety much your main options.

What list are you playing with? Its quite possible to potentially shoot it up, magic it, pin with something, hold still for a turn and bring up some support and so on.
Let us know what are you play and we will give us some more ideas.

Support units.
Advance in line and charge every unit you have at once.
Or you use units to bait and flee your opponents.

i am playing as chaos daemons. with 9/6 for magic but not that strong enough to "guarantee" a stop with it. got some flamers too and i could shoot them up. However with daemons I prob. get outnumbered so my shooting might be elsewhere though. Sometimes you could see them coming but your other units are not closeby you know?

Not really, demons are one of the lists that should struggle against this the least.
Either you need more supporty and less full on fighty units, or you need to commit yourself more slowly and clean out his support first before going for his main units. Demons can do either. Remember, you dont need to wipe him out by turn 4 - any fleeing units at the end of turn 6 count as destroyed anyway, so take your time and ensure good charges.

If possible, you could wheel and march off to the side where your opponent's slower unit will be the only one able to see you, but would still be outside of charging distance. I did this with my Cold One Riders to prevent taking a charge in my last RTT. It worked great until they were broken in combat by a different unit and ran off the board. HURRAY FOR LEADERSHIP TEST!!

True, but SOME people don't bait. They put a fast flee unit just
within march blocking range.
(Love my Glade Riders)

Flanking and Back Line Raiding (without having to rely on Flyers) F&F, allows you to work your way to the enemies rear echelon with a relitivaly small force.
Like HE Reavers, their fab for going after War Machinies, go for the Soft Target and take out the crew.
Bur Screening is also a realy good use.

Its important sometimes to depploy slightly wider with mainline units to "net" baiters, sothat your own auxilliary is less required to keep the enemy force centric, allowing for auxilliary vs auxilliary wars, which hopefully, as a demon player, you should win!
