That's the beauty of the podcast MP3 format. You can just bookmark where you are on your MP3 player and pick it up again later. That is why we don't worry TOO much about show length.
I know there's alot of schtick going on and much of it is inside, so that lost me in quite a few places.. How often do you all pull the curtains back to see the inner workings? Or is it just a "listen and you will understand sooner or later" kinda situation?
While the 'meat' of the show (i.e. primary segments such as D&
D4 or 40k5th) we hope will be enjoyable to first time listeners, running jokes do start to happen based on content from prior episodes. We like these as they are little gems for our regular listeners, while also might be fun 'ah ha' moments for new fans who take the time to go back and listen to older shows. We do 'pull back the curtains' a little bit on our "Incoming" (aka mailbag) episodes. In those episodes we answer emails that often deal with questions about content in prior shows. We've only had one of those so far, but another is getting close.
and the rapidfire thing, maybe it's just me and my age, but I couldn't understand a daggone thing the person was saying..
all in all though, I really enjoyed it.
Rapid fire is a bit wierd, I've added a new post on our site that tries to better explain it:
