So, I just discovered the Quick reference sheets and the rules change overview. The reality of 5th ed and my girl friend giving me a ticket to the LVGT for my birthday have spawned a lot of questions, thanks for all the good info so far.
I've thought of one more.
On the quick reference sheet it says a stationary tank may fire, all weapons. Umm, does anything (aside from range and LOS) stop a Demolisher from firing it's Las Cannon, 2 Plasma cannons, Heavy stubber, and it's Demo cannon in a turn when it didn't move? The quick sheet suggest I may fire ordanance and heavy weapons together.

Yes. If an Ordnance weapon fires the vehicle cannot fire any other weapons, just like 4th edition.
On the plus side, there is no negative effect for moving and firing ordnance now.

Really they've scrapped the 2D6 scatter? (if I recall correctly) Thats good news for everyone. Especially with the new scatter rules shown in July's WD

Scatter for all blast weapons (including Ordnance) is 2D6 minus the firer's BS if a 'hit' is not rolled on the scatter die.
It's just that moving and firing Ordnance follows the exact same procedure.

Also, while the pivot during the shooting phase bit is gone, you may pivot during the movement phase and it does not count as movement if you do nothing but pivot. So you can pivot in the movement phase and still fire all weapons.

maybe not, but it's better to have a -2 modifier to how far it scatters than none at all isn't it. if anything it makes you even more acurate!
