I suppose I should have posted here first, but I had to respond to Demonslave's stuff in the "Missing Primarchs?" Thread. By the way, if you haven't read his big arse post over at the BL forums (there's a link in the thread) just know that although its really long, its also really well researched and totally awesome, especially if you're at all interested in the early Imperium.

Anyway, my info:

Have almost started 40k or Fantasy about a hundred times. Every time I am about to start one army, I get side-tracked and then find myself at square-one all over again. Recently in 40k I find myself stuck between an infantry heavy Chaos Space Marine army (either Alpha Legion or Word Bearer) or a Witch Hunter force with Inquisitors, Flagellents, possibly Zealots etc. (no sisters) and a bunch of inducted Death Korps of Krieg. Mostly concerned with fluffy armies, I'll admit it. As far as Fantasy, I'm currently suffering cognitive dissonance over whether to go with Sigmarite Empire army (replete with, what else, flagellents) or a Native American inspired Beast of Chaos army (mostly Gors, Centigors, and Hounds). And after saying all that, I'm pretty sure that if the Dark Eldar finally get decent, let alone cool, figs, everything else will very quickly fall away.

Even though I don't have any armies of my own, I've played a fair number of games of 40k (3rd and 4th editions) and innumerable games of Fantasy (mostly 6th edition). I've also played some Inquisitor (which is a great game) and a bunch of historical war games (tactica, arc of fire, battlegrounds, etc.).

Well, with all that said, cool website and I've followed it for a while and finally had to join. See ya around.

Welcome to Dakka

Getting an army done is not always easy, you may find the monthly vows in the P&M section useful with that.
