Strategy time. HQ 1 is attached the the other Reaver squad. Start with the warrior squads on the table. Deploy the full 12 inches forward, then move 6 and fleet d6 for 18-24 inches total. Next turn deploy wwp. Every one else pops out and assaults what the dark lances couldn't take out.

C&C welcome. I'm looking for any tips to help the DE be more competative. Thanks for looking!

Take two 10 men Warrior squads, each with 2 dark lances.
Eight Incubi are too much, six should suffice.
The rest looks fine. Slave snares are a waste of pts.

A few thoughts:

Your HQ's look pretty solid, no major comments there.

Any particular reason for not taking Plasma Grenades on your Wyches and characters? The Wyches in particular will suffer if their opponent manages to get the drop on them.

In terms of the Wyches' hitting power, find a place for a Succubus with Agonizer in each squad. The thing with Wyches is that, particularly against well-armored/high toughness foes, the rank and file do not kill too much. What they do is stay alive and deny a combat resolution in the enemy's favor, while the Succubus chops them down.

Although this is more stylistic, I also like toting around a pair of blasters in each squad. I do not expect the loss of one attack each to make a huge difference (see above,) while the S8 AP2 lance gives the squad more options when fighting Terminators or facing heavily mechanized armies.

I would also look at replacing your Splinter Cannons with Dark Lances exclusively. Right now almost all of your AT is mounted on skimmers, with a total of 6 Dark Lances. That is too few for 1750, particularly given how susceptible your Raiders are to dying.

If you are going to bring Reavers, find them a pair of blasters as well, a Succubus with another Agonizer would be good too. If you are brining them only to shield the Archon, keep in mind that the squad is so fragile that either way you will still be hiding them and then popping out to ambush someone, so you might as well spend some points and tool them out enough to be useful in that role.

Once you have made these changes, your assaults will hit home much harder. With that in mind, I would reconsider the Talos. If you are facing lots of opponents who run at you, it may be useful. If you are more concerned about trying to get to the enemy, its lack of speed is just eating up points that could be spent on upgrades elsewhere, or getting a Ravager.

Hopefully some of that made sense.

Oh, here and there.

Thanks guys. Your advice makes sense. I've never actually played Dark Eldar, but I have a whole army(mostly painted) and I appreciate the help.

Blasters are a problem since they don't sell the models anymore and I don't know how to make them though.
