Well, when you buy a chariot for a character, it is not purchased as 'equipment', it is purchased as a 'mount'.
|
He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

They are considered to be mounted, but the rules for being mounted on a chariot differ from those of a character mounted on a 1 wound steed or a monstrous mount.
