Recent pics of preview miniatures (plus the already existing stuff!) has me leaning towards picking up the rulebook and some figures.

BUT, before I do, does anyone have a link to a review/overview of the game?

Anyone have a list of pros and cons?

Basically, anyone have anything at all to relate about the game?

Thanks!

Here's something!

From TGN, a review of the rulebook:

And from Warseer, some decent discussion of the game and the factions:

I getting closer to jumping in the more I read (and, of course, the more I see the miniatures!)...

Download the rulebook off the website; it's better written (I have the actual rulebook as well; the rules are identical).

The armylists off the website are also more current. Download them.

If you can't find them because they've been taken down just shoot me your email and I'll send them to you.

Good luck!

A quick overview of the game.

Its played with d20's, you have upto 10 man squads made up of different troop types, for every man you have your get an order, with this order you can activate a figure as many time as you you have orders. if any of your figures are seen by your oppo's figures they can react. This means they could fire back, duck behind cover and so on. So one more waiting 20 mins for your oppo to have his turn. You also have TAG that rock and make things more fun.

If you have only ever played GW rules this is the light at the end of the long tunnel, and the figures are great!

I was musing yesterday, whether or not Inifinity could be the setting before WH40K, kind of like the time before the Emporer goes on his "Unification Wars on Earth".....

Then I thought, Nah...why ruin a perfectly great gaming system by muddying the waters ala GW style.

Man down, Man down....
