looks pretty good to me, but i wouldn't go for 4 flamers in the termi units since you have to do the damage roll on after another leaving (in most cases) not much for the fourth flamer (if anything at all) to burn. at least playing horde armies. maybe 4 powerfist are a bit of a danger aswell leaving your units last to strike maybe give the champion a pair of lightning claws, works wonders against enemy terminators equipped only with power fists

your lord isnt good. demon priinces are better. for the same cost you could get a demon prince with wings, mark of nurgle and warp time or a demon prince with wings, mark of nurgle and nurgles rot for 10pts cheaper.
the terminator champion isnt worth it. drop with and spend the points on something else. with such a small squad mark of nurgle probably isnt worth its points.
the plague marine squad with flamers would be better off with plasma guns or meltas.
you dont have enough ranged anti-tank. a laspred is too many points for a model that can get killed in one shot. obliterators are better. if you decide to keep the vindicator you should really give it demonic possession.
if you change your lord to a RotPrince, drop the champion and icon from the terminators and all your vehicles, you will save 455pts. with that you can get 6 obliterators and change one of the flamers on they plague marine squad to a melta.

thanks sieek, should i give them combi plasma instead? im really not interested playing the same list as everyone else regwon, what can i do outside of taking oblits? and do i really need ranged anti-tank? i updated the list on some of your suggestions. and the term champion is only 10 more points for an extra attack. what if i dropped the vindicator and took another lazpred?

You asked for comments, that's what you got. Perhaps instead you should have said "How would you change the current units I have, keeping the marks of Nurgle on them and not changing any of them out for any other kind of unit"

And so, due to rising costs of maintaining the Golden Throne, the Emperor's finest accountants spoke to the Demigurg. A deal was forged in blood and extensive paperwork for a sub-prime mortgage with a 5/1 ARM on the Imperial Palace. And lo, in the following years the housing market did tumble and the rate skyrocketed leaving the Emperor's coffers bare. A dark time has begun for the Imperium, the tithes can not keep up with the balloon payments and the Imperial Palace and its contents, including the Golden Throne, have fallen into foreclosure. With an impending auction on the horizon mankind holds its breath as it waits to see who will gain possession of the corpse-god and thus, the fate of humanity...... |

it's fine what regwon said, i just wanted to save people their time by making sure they dont post the same thing. I bet 5 others were thinking the same thing as him, and i only need to hear one.

the thing is, if lots of people give you similar advice, chances are its good advice. if you dont want to play a common list, thats fine. you should think about dropping most of your army then because plague marines and terminators feature in many lists.
yes you do need ranged anti-tank. if you dont have it, and there is a tank or two sat at the back of the enemy deployment then you will loose. your melta guns wont be able to get close enough to kill it before it kills you. the great thing about oblits is that, not only do they function in the primary anti-tank role, but also do well at anti-horde and anti-meq. laspreds cost more points than 2 oblits, have a higher chance of dying and arent as versitile. havocs, although are can have a higher number of heavy weapons, still arent as versitile, arent fearless and are easier to kill without spending loads of point on ablative wounds. ultimately there isnt really a substitute for oblits and the reason so many people use them is because theyre good.
its like a tau player not taking any battle suits because too many people use them.
but if you want to play a unique army that fine. i suggest the following:
Chaos Lord 100pts
Mark of Khorne
5 CSM 75pts
5 CSM 75pts
40 Chaos Spawn 1600pts
i doubt anybody has ever played that.

i think you should have have something out of the ordanary like a socorer on paliquine of nurgle. i want to see more personal armies, not every army taking 1 demon prince with wings and rot or heaps of rhinos with tactical squads with plasma. im not saying that you cant aim to win, im just saying add your own touch to it not everyones elses

Well, troops and heavy support are pretty good.
I suggest a winged DP with Nurgle's rot instead of a lumbering Lord.
The Termies are pretty expensive, one power fist and 4 combi-weapons should suffice.

what should i do with the extra points? i could take another lazpred instead of the vindicator.
also i have a new idea. what if i changed the chaos lord to a jump pack, and put him with some raptors that had melta guns. id also change all the tanks to anti-horde preds and use those leftover points to take more raptors for tank hunting. thoughts?

The Vindicator could secure a flank. Its a pretty scary vehicle.
If you want a fast Lord, putting him with some unit of Raptors is a good idea.
