My latetest bloke toy arrived this morning, my Marcus Fenix from Gears of War. A lovely 8in plastic model. Got a nice weight to it and the paint job is very good and cost me £10, not including p&p. Having had a good look at it this morning I was wondering how it compares price wise to 28mm models. Would you say that it proves that 28mm models are over priced, not over priced or no comparision? No axe to grind, just interested.

Any price comparison must involve the manufacturing and marketing cost on one side, versus the desire of the consumer to obtain the item.

I have a few Japanese statue type figures. They cost more than your Marcus Fenix. I also own a number of expensive reference books. I don't compare either of these with wargame figure prices.
