So I'm waiting for someone to get home so I can head out to get Dinner. Didn't really have time to get into any modeling or something, so I was just screwing around on the forums. This is a fairly random list I got an idea for reading Stelek's CC Fex Nidzilla list. Necronzilla? I think it would be amusing if for no other reason than seeing your opponent's first reaction to it.

I'd drop the scarab swarms and max out the warriors and possibly another lord. It will add to your necron count and make this list very viable in 5th

36 necrons is not enough at 1750....

Definately not enough Necrons in this list. Down to 9, ka-boom. Game over.

At the very least, I would recommend squads of 15, 15 and 14, and drop one of the Scarab Swarms.

Could drop the Disruption Fields on the Scarabs also to help pay for more Necrons.

Yep, you can get six more Warriors and a Phylactery if you lose the Disruption Fields. Doubt it's a list I'd ever field, at least not without using a proxy for `bout every single spider, since I don't even have one currently, much less nine. The thought of it just kind of amuses me.

FYI this is the version of Necronzilla used at my place.

It's a pain in the ass.

Hunting Necrons down doesn't do much for you, they all hide behind cover...3+/4+ with a 4+ sucks. Plus you have to kill them from across the board...not exciting.

Anyway the key to the army working properly is 'Solar Pulse'.

Shuts down heavy weapons fire for the first turn, so you can run the 10 MC towards the other guy...and the scarabs will usually hold people up for the second turn.

Yeah, it's annoying and does decently in 5th.

PPC's are a no-no. You need every attack possible, not shooting.

I thought Solar pulse only gave the night fighting rules for squads targeting the lord.

Hmmm good question. My Necron Codex is buried someplace in the afterlife...is it just him or the whole table?

Every cron player I've ever played who's used it has claimed the whole table is affected.

Man, if they're cheating...they should at least win a game!

If you're playing with Night Fight, it allows the entire Necron army to ignore it for a turn. If you are playing without, it's benefit of causing Night Fight only effects the Lord and the unit he's joined to.

Those cheating I'll kill them all, down to the last g-d damn robot!

Oh wait, I did anyway. Well thank g-d for someone not reading the rule...that NEVER happens. lol
