So, I think I'm narrowing down my choice to "Green Tide" Orks, or "Elite Fire Warriors" Tau. Both should present me with some good modeling opportunities and would be about equalish cost to build I think. Oh, and I don't think either one completely sucks either even though they might be less than optimal (i face alot less av14 than most people). Vote for which one I should build!*

The 28 ork squad needs to be 29 to run 3 rokkits, fyi.

Oh and deleting this makes lists easier to read:

Everyone can tell a AB roster when it shows up, I think.

I don't think much of the fire warrior gunline army, so I'd say go with the Orks.

Question, why the markerlight on the fire warrior team if you are taking two teams of pathfinders?

No railguns??? I see your seekers and fusion blasters but you're avoiding the biggest guns we've got!

I voted Orks.

I must have lost that Ork when I was messing with the PK Nobs in with Shoota Boyz. Army Builder still doesn't like it. Thanks for pointing that out.

As far as the Army Builder copyright, well, I really love the product, so I figure I'll leave those two little lines in there to give em their props.

Oh, and I should have pointed it out. It's not really a Tau gun line. The two Fire Warrior squads without Devilfish will be promptly stealing their rides from the Pathfinders'. The points I saved doing that is enough to afford the third squad of warriors.

Pathfinders do not save points.

They cost. Alot.

I ment I was taking Pathfinders anyways, and was refering to saving points by letting the Fire Warriors use the Devilfish that I am required to purchase with them instead of buying Devilfish dedicated to the Fire Warriors.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the codex say that squads can not share transports?

In 5E you can share transports willy nilly as you see fit and the models fit/are allowed within.

Really! That's good...even if the individual codex says otherwise?

orks are way tigher than tau and they look cooler and are more indimidating, so i say screw the greater good and go with the orks.

Your ork army lacks support, if you were to use that list but you have a great tau list but could benifit from a braodside maybe IMHO

What kind of support are you talking about?

I just thought I would go ahead and mention it. I decided I would get Tau. I figure Orks would run too similar to my `Nids, what with a hoard running across the table. I'd get more marines and do more of a foot trooper SAFHish list and go less mechanized, play the Tau as the mech force, and Necrons as my usual freakish Necron list of the week ends up.

So right befor buy the first box of Fire Warriors when I'm doing some final price compairsons one of the local Ork players comes over. We get to talking about some of the conversons and stuff I have in mind, which tips the scale in my mind just enough that tonight I purchased my first box of Boyz. I won't allow myself to buy anymore untill these first boyz are painted, so we'll see how well this works out.
