Well after reviewing the rules at a local GW as well as reading on the thoughts of the what a land raider can do for the GK's in 5th I am going to buy one for a 1k list to see how I like it. I will playtest using the 5th ruleset and if it seems to be feel i've been looking for I may just get a couple more. Here is the 1k list that I will use as well as a few possibilities for 1.5k.

With some tweaking I could also get a third option for 1.5k with 2 land raiders as well. Again I am going to start with the 1k list after a pick one up to see whats what. I am wondering what people think of the option 2 list that has 3? Would it seem too cheesy? I think it to be an interesting spin off of silent requiem's way of the water warrior 1k two raider list.

Land raider spam will probably do well in the new edition. At least as long as you don't go up against dark eldar.

If you want to go land raider crazy, run five.

Three isn't madness really. Crazy, perhaps.

I'd say four is madness, and five is crazy madness (aka insanity).

Nothing really wrong with it, but I'd drop some points someplace and grab a psychic hood.

I'd run just 1 rhino myself...those IST's will need to sit in the back behind it and cower near your objective.

Doesn't the Brother Captain come with a psychic hood?

No. You have to buy it from the armory.
