Purpose: To introduce New and old players into the Warhammer 5th Edition Ruleset. The format is to allow for the maximum amount of games possible with the widest array of units to be fielded.

Schedule:
The event is to take place on Saturday, July 19th.

Check in and Army display shall be at 11:00 a.m. Please have your armies displayed for painting judging at this time.

The game schedule is as follows:

12:00-1:00 Game 1
1:15-2:15 Game 2
2:30-3:30 Game 3
3:30-4:00 Lunch break
4:00-5:00 Game 4
5:15-6:15 Game 5
6:30-7:30 Game 6
7:30 Results

Rules:

Two players form a singular army list consisting of 2 500 point detachments for a total of 1000 points, with each player in command of his/her 500 point section. You must have a good "fluff" reason for the two joining, when in doubt refer to the Apocalypse allies chart.

All miniatures must be painted to a three color minimum.

There is no FOC for this event, so if you want to field 2 Land Raiders as your detachment, go right ahead. Keep in mind the scoring status of troop choices when building your army.

Missions will be randomly rolled at the start of each round using the charts found in the Warhammer 5th Edition Rule book, the event organizer has the option of re-rolling the mission and/or deployment for any reason.

Scoring:

The event organizer will be judging the painting on a scale of one to ten during the army display time. Failure to arrive on time for army display will cost you those points.

Players will vote on best painted and best sportsman in their final round.

Battle points are awarded like thus: 10 for a Victory, 5 for a Draw, 0 for a Defeat.

Players with the most Battle Points win.

Players will be awarded best painting based on player and judging scoring.

Players will be awarded best sportsman based on player scoring.

Prize Support:

This is a free event and as such there will be no prizes awarded.

Heh, I noticed that as well.
