Made some updates to my old list for 5th. Theme is the same mobile Space Knights on Jetbikes army.
Choice explainations are below.
HQ
Farseer Mierin has fortune to fortune the seer council unit and mindwar to kill particular dangerious units like power weapon welders or lower leadership ICs that are a threat.
Jetbike Warlocks - 6 Warlocks + Farseer average 4 wounds on a Carnifex on the charge and thats not including destructors or shooting. They also are very effective against MEQs in close combat. Two Destructors is enough most of the time. I've tried 3 before. You don't want to kill to much otherwise you can't charge. Might put in redudant embolden and enhance because of the new wound allocation but don't have points.
Troops
Jetbike Squads.
Not to sure about the small Jetbike squads with 5th edition they were really effective in 4th with Jump shoot jump and the warlock with spear and destructor ads flexability. Not to sure about surviability in 5th with the new rules though.
Maybe I should be going with some dire avengers in wave serpents?
Elites
I droped the Harlequins because of the no more massacre consolidation.
Fire Dragons are for roasting tanks. They now ride a wave serpent because no reason for a falcon. I arm the wave serpent with missle launcher and shuriken cannon so it can shoot all weapons at infantry if it wants and move 12 or just shoot a twin linked shot at a vehicle. Dragon's breath flamer actually is pretty nice as you can hit infantry taking cover next to the tank or if you drop the dragons in front of a monsterous creature screening gaunts or something the flamer is great. They are necessary for killing Land raiders
Fast Attack
Shining Spears because they are like futuristic calvary the withdraw to get to charge again get the benefit of additional attacks and not get bogged down in assault is really nice. can also hunt some light vehicles.
Heavy Support
3 Fire Prisms. I dropped the Falcon for the full 3 fire prisms. They hang back hopefully in cover and shoot infantry or vehicles. 3 big pie plates seems really good against armies like Orcs. No Shuriken cannon to save points If the prism cannon is destroyed can ram with them.
Haven't actually tested this list yet. But made it based on what I heard of 5th edition rules. What do you think?
