I am currently building and painting a brass scorp for a tournament which allows 1 apoc entry. My question is would people get funny about this being used as a defiler in other tournaments? (as in GW GT etc)

If so, it will mean i'll have to paint another:(.

i cant see any problem with it really, as long as it isnt too much larger than a defiler, but theyre pretty chunky anyway.

its just like a large conversion.

Same base model, so if you don't go overboard people shouldn't mind.

It's when you make it 2x the size and use to block LOS to 50 demons or CSM in a regular game that people will get upset.

Now you are obligated to post pics. A how to in the blog section would be good. The scorpion conversions I've seen so far (only on the intranets) have been inspired.

I'm doing halfsies and putting a "scorpion" tail on a regular unbound defiler myself (Mummy II sort of thing).
