do poeple think nurgles rot would be an effective tool versus horde armies. i was thinking of make a suicide lord with nurgle rot, or just put him with a squad of plague marines and get him in the thick of a horde and nurgle rots away.

nurgles rot is horribly effective against horde armies (nid hordes particularly)., but dont give it to a sorcerer (you cant give it to a lord). a rot user has to be fast to get in a good possition to use it. put it on a demon prince and give the demon prince wings. you fly into a good place, rot and shooting kills a load of stuff, you charge with your prince and kill the rest.

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?

I only take it with Typhus because it's included in the price of the model. Sometimes it kills a few enemy models but I've never seen it turn the tide of battle.

on i prince ive seen it kill 12 orks in a turn. that mob then proceeded to get shot by some other stuff and charged and broken by the demon prince. they best way to use it is to stick the carries right next to a large horde unit.

it is terrible againt MEQs though.

Used it for the first time recently against an all Grot army (seriously 200+models in a 1K game) with a Sorc. Managed to eliminate a couple of units, and weaken up others for combat - and this was with him having 5up saves due to power fields on his Big Meks. Had I known how nasty it would be, I would have been in the middle of his units in Turn 1!

Saying that, failed warp test in final turn, which eliminated a W on my sorc and led to him dying, losing me the game. Doh!

Good guys go to heaven.

Bad guys send them there.

Sure, it if fine and dandy against all grot armies etc. But really, its crap. How much stuff do you get inside it? And how many are afraid of its damage?
