Hello fellow Dakkites,

I am going to be in Florida the days listed in the title. I am looking for some gamers that want to play a game of Warhammer 40,000 with a somewhat inexperianced player. I want to play and learn more of the rules but I have no one to play and florida is a better place for me to look for oppenents than North Carolina is. I am able to play at two places throughout these days.

If you know where these places are and are itching for a friendly but competitive game of 40k, let me know and we can try and schedule a meeting time. If you have any models/bitz/paints you want to bring and swap/use/trade/sell whatever, just let me know about those too and you can bring them to the meeting/game. Dan, you are in luck with Sci-fi. There are players there every Saturday. There is also another store in that general area called Rhubarb Games. Both stores offer attractive scenery to play on, and solid player pool.

I can't speak for Cool Stuff Games, as I've never been there. It's one of those ones I've wanted to check out, but never had the time.

It's a local 40k club, mostly based at Sci-fi City. If you want to schedule a game, or know what's going on in the area, it's a good resource. The same can be said for Rhubarb's forums.

This might seem like an odd question, but are you able to get to Kissimmee (south of Orlando) for the night of the 11th? The Coliseum of Comics is having a after-closing gamefest to celebrate the new rules set, and will begin selling the new rules there at midnight, and will have door prizes, including a collectors edition rulebook.

There is also a gaming shop in Kissimee - Colliseum of Comics. Depends on how far you want to travel
