So, there's nothing really earthshaking in this list, and frankly, there's not supposed to be. It's just supposed to be a solid, if bog-standard, IG list. That said, a couple notes about the list's composition:
- I recognize it's light on manpower, but I figured that's the tradeoff for going heavy with armor.
- The shotguns in the Hardened Vet squads are purely for aesthetic purposes - frankly, I don't expect the lasguns they're replacing in those units to do much anyway, so I didn't figure they'd be missed.
- PCS's are loaded out with PGs rather than MGs as I had an idea for using them for late-game objective assaults since they are Troops (see questions below about this, too).

I've tried to pay attention to as many of the posts of the IG folks like HBMC, Janthkin, and Stelek to try to come up with something solid - but I know that they don't all agree on a variety of issues, so I have an idea of some of the comments I may get on the list. Here are some questions, though.
- Command Platoon - Contrary to HBMC's recommended loadout, I've got this loaded out for DS anti-tank work. Should I regear it for command (JO w/HI, ID, Std) and give the PCSs MGs? And if I do, what do I do to fill up that annoying 4 or 9 point gap left by the Vet w/ Banner?
- I know Stelek's not a fan of Las/Plas, but considering my low model count, I want to make sure I've got as much ranged Anti-Tank/Anti-Transport as possible. I figure with the LRs, LRD, and HHs I'm good on Anti-Infantry. Should I consider changing up some of these squads and adding an Anti-Tank Squad to the Command Platoon?
- The one area I recognize I'm lacking in is Late-Game Offensive units - if the HHs survive that long, I figure they're good for it, and if I can hold a DS Squad or two back, I can use that, but any recommendations here are appreciated.
- I also know Stelek's feelings about LRDs, but I really wanted to run a full complement of Heavy Support and figured the LRD would be good for counter-assault. Is it worth it though? I can get another 2 full squads of Infantry for that price.

Anyway, let me know your thoughts on this list.

I don't think there's really much wrong with it.

I don't think much of the PG but you know that.

I think that Able's command squad should have meltas.
You will really miss them if you don't bring them.

Last thing, I think you'd be better served by a 3rd Hellhound in this list.

What would you suggest removing to add in the 3rd Hellhound?

So, just running the Infantry platoons without any special weapons? Huh. Had never really considered that...

Looks solid. Would probably skip the Demolisher also and would prefer to have the command at the troops for better LD but thats just minor tweaks.

I ran a IG horde that used sentinels to kill enemy tanks and 220 IG for anything else.

It was humorous.

Sadly, it was also effective.
