This guy's work isn't my style usually, but his particular abstract sculpting technique suits an extra-dimensional being like this guy:

http://www.trollsforge.com/wor/wb.html

Looks like he'll be adding more greenstuff detail, but hopefully not too much. I like the vagueness of its features - like its not quite settled on a corporeal form yet.

Very chaotic in the Cthulhu-esque sense of the word. I like the warrior about halfway down the page with the funky helmet/mask thing. That's pretty cool. It's like a much sleeker, more detailed version of the old RT Chaos Marines.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

I like the model, but I have yet to see a mass produced version of Cthulhu that has beat out the Horrorclix version.

To date, my favorite large scale Cthulhu is the brand spankin new 14" SOTA Cthulu which I saw at Origins.
Big enough to take on that FW Reaver Titan!

Check him out:

Hm. Those Cthulhu's look too muscle-y and ripped for my taste...I always pictured Cthulhu as more of a big Buddha of Horror - big folds of blubber topped with a tentacle face and all that.

I picked up one of these

and as far as I'm concerned this matches exactly the visual I've always had of cthulhu

@ Elusive's Cthulhu -- Holy hell, wonderful tentacular head on that version. And frankly I like the muscle-y "destroyer of worlds" version, as opposed to the dumpy "baron of bad dreams" (which is probably more on target).

I just printed out a head-on view of the SOTA Cthulhu at life-size scale and stood him next to my life-size FW Reaver picture. The top of Cthulhu's head is even with the top of the Reaver's carapace - eye to "nose" with the titan. If Cthulhu had better posture, he'd be eye-to-eye or even a bit taller (excluding the Reaver's missle pod).

I found a place selling them for $188.15 plus $15 shipping in the US: http://www.statuetoys.com

Gotta say, I like the HorrorClix one fine. Except that the wings break off really easily.

Say... waitasec... if I attached some scything talons to those wing-stumps... and put him in with my feeder tendril Stealers...

...holy crap. The Father of All Genestealers is definitely going to be appearing on an Apocalypse battlefield in the very near future.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!
