Wondering if it's possible to take GK to the highest tier in 5th. Landraiders are a lot stronger with all the changes, how can we abuse it?

Pure KP denial, take objectives while blocking LOS with LRCs on last turn. For CTF, just dispute the opponent's point as he shouldn't be able to take down 4 LRCs before you can do so. Four troop units, but they're hard to destroy, as they can be transported by the LRC, because no longer dedicated transports.

Not sure if this works at all, thoughts?

I don't think you have the firepower to advance towards objectives and keep big threats away from the LRCs. Melta Weapons are still very dangerous to LRCs and you don't have the infantry to keep them off of your tanks or the firepower to keep them from getting close.

Is the concept viable, though?

If it is, what would you change to accommodate that?

You could try some normal LRs and stay out of melta range.

Call me dumb if I missed something, but how are you getting four LRCs, let alone FIVE? From what I know (and oh, I know), only Inquisitors can purchase a dedicated LR, not GK Heroes, GKTs, GKPAs, or IST. This leaves only three Heavy Support options. Ya?

Grey Knights will never be a top tier list while they have the 3rd edition codex.

The list you posted is a gimmick list. It will win if your opponent can’t kill Land Raiders, otherwise it will lose.

They Grey Knights/Demonhunters have improved in 5th edition though. Now you can take an Inq with a LR and a LRC in the Heavy slot with 2 dreadnoughts seems like a good combo. Sprinkle in some GK troops, and you are in business.
