I am planning to use Kairos and a player told me that he faced someone who just picked a bunch of small d6/2d6 damage spells and kept spamming them with 2 dice (+2 cast helps). Well none of them by themselves have a huge impact like Comet, Spirit and others but when I thought about it it seems a great way to draw out DD/DS - isn't balancing out the magic the best way to not have the opponent save the best for last? I could certainly include a powerful spell later on but if i just barrage my opponent with 2d6s isn't that a good tactic? your thoughts?

It works well for 2nd generation Slaan - your mage lord essentially is a multi-shot war machine, and floods the field with machine gun-like bolts of energy. Works pretty well against things that are at serious risk from S4 fire; less effective against T4+ units/armies with good saves.

I know a guy who did that with all the AOE magic attacks. Works really well on a terror causing flyer.
