I'm a big fan of the buildings, I've got a lot of the fantasy ones, they're beautiful--perfect for fantasy or warmachine/hordes. Highly recommended. I bought mine at Origins a few years back.

Gotta klicky dakka linky:

www.flyingtricycle.com

Till July 19th I am selling my model kits at 50% off. Place an order on my website, or send me an email at kirbykevin@sbcglobal.net. I will discount the price manually and send an email for confirmation. You can use a credit card on my website securely, or we can do paypal to my email address.

The res-units and the city square are all large, provide plenty of blocking terrain and cover saves. I am still working on a factory kit and an orbital landing installation like the one in the latest White Dwarf. I will be posting pictures as I get prototypes finished...

Are the prices shown the half-off prices, or the old prices?

All the prices on the website are the full cost, so you'll be paying half that, plus regular shipping. Thanks Kid, for the extra plug! All my kits are 1/8" birch plywood, light but very durable.

If more of us valued food and cheer and 40K over hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

Just a bump to let people know this sale ends saturday.

Good quality kits folks, at a steal of a price.

[edit]

I even found some really old pics on the net for their terrain. (something which is lacking on the flying tricycle site)

Impressive stuff. I saw it and would have liked to put an order in but missed out too.

A simple case of bad timing because I had just committed myself to pay out for a double deal of Armorcast Reaver and Warhound titans.

Prices were very nice, but I am way over my hobby budget for this month, and next month, and a fair chunk out of September at the very least, as you could well imagine.

I wonder if the sale will be repeated any time.

I ordered some stuff during the 1/2 off sale, about 10 days ago or so.

Has anyone received their 1/2 off sale merchandise yet?

Here is what Krak Kirby wrote in his thread listed in the original post in this thread.

Krak_kirby wrote:I got a terrific response from this offer, so I'm a little behind. I'll be shipping all the orders I received this week tomorrow morning, so most folks should see their orders early next week. I'll also be checking shipping rates for a few kits overseas, for those folks in the UK or elsewhere. Saturday is the last day to get the half off discount, but anyone waiting on shipping quotes will still get the discount of course.

Thanks to everyone giving my kits a try!

I just got my ship I ordered in the mail.

First off, the shipping charges were great. The package was sent via priority mail. I was charged $6.50 and it cost $5.60. When you add in the cost of the packaging (which was done quite well and it arrived with no broken or missing bits after thoroughly checking the huge piles of wooden bits) it becomes immediately apparent that the shipping charges are more than reasonable.

It comes with a nice isometric view of instructions on putting the kit together along with a verbose set of printed instructions. Also included was a parts list to verify that everything you need to put the model together was included.

The kit itself...

Wow. I was quite impressed with what came in it and it took me a good 45 minutes to go down the parts checklist. Everything is cut out of 3mm plywood, what aoppears to be lasercut and etched ply. The pieces dry fit together like a dream.

I only regret not ordering more kits at the sale price. I am kicking myself in the pants right now.

But I am definitely pleased with what I got. A bargian at full price to be honest. the ship kit is aces..

I didn't anticipate the response on the sale, so I didn't ship orders till this past friday. I apologise for the delay, most folks in the U.S. should be getting their kits early this week. I will be having the sale again soon, but first I'm gonna stock up!
