Subject: New washes - What armies best?

Hey,
Ijust puchased the new wash set a week ago and I want to start up a new army which uses them most. I've seen what excellent work some people have done on just white primer and washes so I was wondering what armies would be best for heavily basing the painting on the washes? Any suggestions are very appreciated as well as pictures. I'd like to know what colours these would work best with for any armies you list.
Thanks

Tyranids are probably your best bet, followed closely by Necrons, who are now even easier to paint than they were previously (metallic primer + black wash = done)

I probably should have mentioned that oddly enough, nids and necrons are my two exceptions. Thanks for replying though.

Your own army. After all they are your washes, not soemone elses.
just use them if you get them, and dont worry about which is 'best'.

I am working on Orks right now and I love the washes. Thraka green on the skin over Orkhide flesh with Goblin green drybrushing. I am using the Davion mud on the pants and the weapons to give them the dirty look.

Hmm, I find I use a wash or ten in most my minis, I'd say nurgle uses them most, not easiest to paint but probably the most "washed army". I could go through about 15 washes per model on those guys. And thats just troopers, you dont want to know how many washes Typhus got.

Well technically not using, I dont collect plague marines anymore really, was a while ago. But I went with a Bronzed coat for the non metals followed by multiple washes of different browns (ie. Snakebite Leather, Vermin Brown, Scorched Brown, Brown Ink), Black, and a few Greens for pus on the creases/bolts in the armor.

Never gave dipping a shot to be honest :/ hmm. Dont know, dipping seems a little "low on detail" for me. Maybe if I ever inherit a mega force of nyds.
