So, since the announcement that Pendrake would make his appearance in Hordes/Warmachine, I decided I'd find a new one and paint him up nice. I had to convert him, because he was just too mean to the poor Gorax, so I sculpted the cyclopse head (it is original).

Comments and Criticism are welcome, and as always, I have more images on my website (gardenninja.com).

I've no idea who he is but it's an amazing model. Were the glasses added or are they part of the model?

Hey Kyoto, he was originally a Privateer Press Iron Kingdoms RPG model, but will shortly be re-released as a Minion/Mercenary for use in Hordes/Warmachine. He's basically the "professor" who, according to the fluff, wrote the IK RPG Monster manuals. He travels around the Iron Kingdoms and either spends time with, or simply chops up, the denizens to figure out how they tick.

I like the addition of the Cyclops head. That's a nice nod to his storyline. It's well executed too.

The glasses are part of the original model. I've always liked that sculpt.

Oh that Cyclops head! I kept looking at Pendrake's head trying to figure out what you guys were talking about...took me a minute to realize you were talking about him standing on a Cyclops head. Duh.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Don't feel bad, DBM. You aren't the only one. The title & text are a bit misleading.

My word-fu isn't working out well for me here...

Yeah... sorry about that. I wonder if I can fix it.

I painted up a Pendrake a couple years ago, but I've become so much a better painter since then that I just couldn't use him in my force.
