I was talking to my Brother In law in the UK the other day and he mentioned that he had had a peek at an upcoming forgeworld book and has seen in it a Forgeworld version of a Ctan he thought it was the Nightbringer that stood about the same size as the eldar titan. I was wondering if anyone else had heard anything about this as it realy got me excited.

I've not heard anything, sounds like the sort of project FW would look at, however the size seems a little ott to me for such a project, maybe the size of an avatar/greater deamon if they did it...? Before they mad a necron 'titan' I'd assume they would do more little things, as the army is a bit on the bland side to me. Plus they've already got the pylon that's a nice big thing....

It'll be really cool to see a FW C'tan. I think is quite appropriate, the nightbringer and deceiver are only their small size due to the lack of proper nutritional psychic souls. Once they've fed it would make sense they'd get bigger kinda like the size of the Void Dragon (ship sized) or potentially the Outsider (much bigger than ship sized). Titan sized would really be appropriate or a developed uber-Nightbringer and would give Necron something to fight titans with.

If they do a C'Tan before they do a Grater Demon for Tzeenth, they're going to burn for all enternity in the Tzeenth's Pink Flames of Whimsical Wrath

As much as I'd like to see FW do the Outsider or the Dragon, considering the fact that they're only rumored to be around in fluff-terms, I can't see FW doing them any time soon. Nightbringer or the Deceiver on the other hand, I could see them doing a pretty cool model of.

I'd also be pretty disappointed, though, if they were to do a C'Tan before they do a GD of Tzeentch. I mean, Tzeentch does always get the shaft from the studio, but ya gotta give a demon a break...

From what I have heard since finding out about this was (This info coming mainly from Tim of Samurai Gunslinger/TWIWG) that GW at some point announced they would be doing all 4 greater demon then either 2 or 3 C'tan Since Tzeench is the last demon My guess is that the preview my brother saw means that they are most likely done with the Tzeench model and are also more or less done with the Nightbringer. I hope this is the case.

If they do a third C'tan it wouldn't be until a new Necron codex comes out and it would almost have to have said third C'tan in it.

I'd love to see a forge world C'tan. The C'tan are ridiculously undermodelled for their point cost/game effect.

Since GW have said at the 2002 Chicago GD that there would be a third C'tan, but it never saw the light of day (Due in part I am certain to cries of cheese regarding necrons in 3rd ed) Apocalypse is the perfect arena to introduce either the Dragon or the Outsider C'tan.

Everybody else gets titans, superheavys, etc, etc.

Necrons get a pylon...

Frankly the Necrons need the Monolith reclassified as a Warmachine, albeit one taken as HS and available in the codex and need a couple of 'tanks' to replace it.
