Total: 1962 (I have 38 points left over. Any advice here?)

I'm trying to go for a swarming, mechanized horde feel here, with many smaller combat units crashing into the enemies front line at the same time. There is no formal plan or strategy for this list--all of my units are cheap and rather expendable, and most have the same goal of reaching combat and winning. I'll go about trying to focus the trukkboy units on more difficult combat units and sending the mega-armored nobs at vehicles and units lacking ID power weaponry. The skorchas are great at toasting small stuff and have a nice low price. The warbikers are great well-rounded units good at both combat and shooting, and can soak up shots very well.

the warbuggies are ASKING you opponents to get a KP each for them, I'd beef up the squadrons, or get rid of them completely and beef up the warbiker squad.

same with the nobs, ditch a trukk and put the megas in one trukk and for heaven's sake keep that truck behind the others so tht it's not killed 1st turn. the last thing you want is 6 meganobs 24" away from the action.

it's a good list, but mech swarms are hard to win with when dealing with kp's

Thanks for the feedback, brotherman. I put in the wartraks because I didn't have enough points to make any other unit worth its while, and I don't like filling out points on unnecessary upgrades.

With as many killpoints as my list has (with dedicated transports counting as 1 each) I really don't plan on winning by killpoints. In fact, I don't plan on ever still fighting on turn 5 or 6. This army in general is aiming to hit the enemy ASAP and either a) annihilate them in a bloody torrent or b) get completely blown to bits/get half blown to bits then krumped in combat. In a killpoint game, I must aim to wipe-out the enemy at all costs.

As far as the Mega-nobs are concerned, I keep them in 2 units of 3 to maximize their effectiveness. As elite choices, they get placed last, so I will make sure to keep them especially out of harms way, even if it means hiding behind a trukk of boys.

Check out the new list by the way, it was a little different, but I like it.

I like the idea of an Ork Force completely delivered by Trukks. My only question is then, Wheres the Red paint!?!?! How can your Trukks go faster when they're lacking the most vital component

I bet this is a pretty fun list though.

Alright, I updated the list and added a 2000 point upgrade of it. What do you guys think of these?
