Hey guys,
Just got back into 40k and am still running Army Builder Version2. Was wondering, does anyone have the files for 40k in the version 2? Could you send me a link where i can get it at? Thanks!

Took all of five seconds to type in " 40k Army Builder 2 Files" into Google.

This is the problem. The AB maintainers only support AB 3.X - consequently, I made the mistake of upgrading to Army Builder 3 - only afterwards did I found out how buggy it was. I went back to using Version 2. So, I'm stuck using old files, but I'd rather use old files than use the crap that is AB 3.X.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack |

What source files are you using for your army lists? I play Eldar and Nids in particular.

I sent you to the download page with tons of Version 2 files. You really need to do more than skim a page before you give up. Its right there to download.

In the user generated section of the Downloads page, you can find updated Codex versions for Version 2. I was able to get my Tau updated, however all my HQ units come with a Target Lock and the extra 5 point price tag, but it won't let me disable it. I just added 5 points to my list total to make up for it, but it is somewhat annoying.

I did more than skim the page. Did you? It is right there to download. But did you see the date on it? The newest 2.X files there are from 2006.
What I didn't see was the user generated 2.X files. Thanks for pointing those out to me - I do appreciate that. You're naturally at the whim of the what the users are generating, which isn't necessarily complete, but you're right. It is something.

I've never found a bug with ABv3, though there are some quirks to the system that give it a bit of a learning curve. Are you sure there are bugs? What exactly are you having trouble with?
