I'm definitely not a good painter, but I was looking for an opinion on these terminators.

Also, sorry about the crappy photos, I used my roomate's point and shoot, too lazy to get out my 30D.

they look promising =), just wondering did you prime them (i would recomend black primer) or just paint on the model?

Just painted the model, I've been priming my IG guys, but these were kind of an impulse. Originally I wasn't going to paint them, a time thing, I'm finishing my BS thesis and work full time, and guardsmen are so much easier to paint. Anyway, I probably should have primed them, but this didn't take me long to do. Thanks for the feedback btw fnc.

Also, my guard is pretty dark, so I didn't want to go with the traditional GK colour scheme, it wouldn't work that well with the IG they're attached to, if you wondered why they're black.

I like the idea of black Grey Knights. Black is a pain in the ass to make look good as it usually tends to just become a lil-black hole removing all visual traces of detail. So get back in there with some grey highlights. Then for the silver parts get some of that black paint, water it down on your brush and wipe it over the silver parts and then detail it with a lighter silver to get some depth to the areas. Then get some brown, water it down on your brush and attack those white areas to make them pop as well. Keep it up!

If you're going to go with black armor, I'd suggest a brighter color contrast on some of the details like the halberd hafts or the storm bolters or other such thing, otherwise they will all kind of disappear into a black mass on the table top and you lose the coolness of em.

Oh, and why did you glue them to your wall?
