Hi all,

As an alternative to the new GW markers for Run, Fired, Weapon Destroyed, etc, I've made up a set to use & posted it online for people to download (freely) at http://rocketshipgames.com. They were designed for 40k but should work for a variety of other games as well. The "official" notice is below. Let me know if you find any use for them, I'd love to see pictures of games in progress with these.

Thx!

RocketShip Games: Imperial Commands

RocketShip Games is happy to announce Imperial Commands, a set of
status and order markers for science fiction and modern era miniatures
gaming. In particular, the tokens have been designed to support
players of the excellent new Warhammer 40,000: Fifth Edition, but are
generic enough to work well with nearly any game set in recent
history, tomorrow, or the far future. Included are markers for
vehicle damage, morale breaks, movement, and other items helpful to
track in a wide variety of games. All of the Imperial Commands PDFs
are free downloads, so check them out today! Guides to mounting the
tokens on foamcore and using them in 40k 5e are also available on the
site. For more information and to get the PDFs, visit:

I quite like the design, but I've never liked cardboard tokens, the GW plastic ones will be a little more durable.

Printing decals on decal paper, gluing it to flight bases, then sealing it always works.

I quite like my GF9 counters (they have a variety of types from setup/deployment to infantry psych to vehicle damage, etc) and they aren't neon-green.

I use the banners that all SM tactical sets come with for my objective markers (didn't otherwise have a use for them.) and have a laser pointer and periscope (which I've used for over 10 years each).

The counters look quite good, though, and I have downloaded a set for my clubmates (who are great guys and all, but no-one, but no-one touches my stuff but me and lives.)

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

One great thing about the neon-green, they stand out, almost to a radiant glow on the battlefield. It's very hard to overlook them. Found that very useful during games.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
