Hey all,

I'm really surprised this hasn't been posted yet but here we go:

The guys over at Bell of Lost Souls have posted their play aid for the Macharian Crusade.

It's a huge document with TONS of stuff in it. I've just had the chance to download it and plan on tearing through all of the info today.

Oh and you might see some familiar terrain in there as well ^_-. I was lucky enough to help the BoLS guys out with some photo op time on the Ol' Autumn Foothills table!

Head on over and let them know what you think of it all.

It's a fantastic book from the Bell lads, huge fan of all the special characters myself. And soooo much art from Goatboy, damn!

I priced it out, and a BW spiral bound copy with a color cardstock cover is about $16.00 at kinos. Well worth it.

I plan to print it out on color at work and just drive some giant document staples through it. A great book from what I have read so far, and I suspect a staple for the bathroom. Sounds wierd, but fluff and Angle Soft seem to share a shelf marvelously.

That being said, if you have a gaming group that all wants to have a copy, they'll likely have a volume discount... Will it be worth it at that point? Probably not.

Yeah, I took a couple skims through it yesterday and it's a very cool read. Not sure how balanced some of the new IG Doctrines are, but I look forward to hearing how they play (particularly the one with Stormtroopers w/ Bolters, IG Land Speeders, and IG Skimmer Tanks).

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Dosadi Looks over at his Konica-Minolta Bizhub pro C6500 production colour machine.
He looks over at his cerlox binder.
Dosadi then wonders how many people would pay $20.00 (+S&H) if he mass produced these books on 24lb microprint coated paper with a cardstock mylar coated front and back cover?

Then he wonders how much trouble (not legal trouble, but karmic trouble ) he'd get into with BoLS for making a profit from their hard work and quietly goes back to work.

I guess the one I did for myself will have to suffice.

Very well done and you have my eternal gratitude for not only including Praetorians, but a Praetorian special character as well and he is mounted!!

<sniff> I promised myself I wouldn't cry

I heart SYR 8766

For all your bravado, if the US Army decided to invade, Wisconsin is it?, in force supported by a heavy bombing campaign for the month before, weeks of shelling from battleships on Lake Superior, and a full tank thrust (crushing the cows beneath the treads), I don't think that your .22 is going to make much of a difference really... Asmodai (my new hero)

At some point these sorts of decision-making skills lump you into the same camp as the Lehman Brothers, the White Star Line shipping company, and mothers who smoke during pregnancy.
