Thanks for reporting, but it is only a pseudo-bug as it was actually a design decision. The amount of server/database overhead to update the tooltip when people edit was not worth it for the number of posts that actually have their first 100 characters edited. Mods and admins can force a refresh when needed, but I dont intend to make it automated as it not worth the extra load.
