Company master with a chainsword is silly. Any marine HQ with a chainsword is silly. Give him a real weapon.

Or better yet, drop him all together and get Belial. This gives you 2 extra troops choices.

I'd try to squeeze some lascannons in there somewhere, because your army has 0.

I would drop the Fist on the Chappie, and put it on the commander. The Chaplain already gets a power weapon.

Also, I concur with MarvinGayeIsMyDaddy, you need some lascannons. Put them on the predator, perhaps?

I actually just took the comp. master for the leadership.

I'm thinking of replacing the heavy wpns in the tac squads with lasacannons, i played played guard and I didn't have a good way of taking out his russes

I'm also considering dropping the chaplain altogether and bying rhinos.

Do you guys have any thoughts on a command squad for the comp, master? Now that they can use the 'tac squads' rhino.

Lascannon...only one lascannon for 10 men is horrible.devastators may work better.3-las predator also looks efficient.

Aren't you exagerating when you say one lascannon per tac squad is horrible?
I think devs might become too expensive, i might as well take a LR if I want a 10 man squad and two lasacannons.

This is a battleforce army.

It's fun, but not competitive.

1 of everything is really 1 of nothing.

You need to decide for yourself whether you want a mech DA army, or a non-mech DA army (called a foot slogging BT or jump pack BA army).

Then you need to buy more stuff.

Of all the things listed, I'd keep the DW and the vehicles; and not bother with the rest--it's mostly junk.

I figured i needed more stuff ;-p What do you mean by junk, that the configuration sucks or that those units suck?

Those units suck.

Most of the DA list sucks, frankly.

They really are the children of the special olympics, sorry to say.

So Stelek, since we know you love building lists with craptacular armies, any suggestions for the man?

(He's right though, Dark Angels really got the wrong end of the nerf bat)

Edit: On the bright side, Codex: Space Marines is coming out soon. You can always play them as green marines in robes. I really like the models...pity on the codex.

I've posted several DA, BA, and BT lists.

If you aren't doing mech DA or DW, run BA or BT instead--they're better.

I'll go searching and will edit with what I find...I'm just waiting for work to end anyway

Most of my lists in the last few months are all 5E lists.

Stelek: Do you happen to have a mech list posted somewhere? And if not could you write a quick one up? I haven't played green marines in 5th ed yet. Not sure how a mech list would work.

OK, trying a new list with a few changes. I figure I need to have my RW come in from the sides to get the most out of them. I also wonder if I should shave of some points to get a PF on a tac squad? I've never used command squads before, maybe there's a better configuration?
