I have 2x your number of models, and 2+ times your number of monstrous creatures...in a 1750 list.

I could rewrite your list entirely, but you really should learn for yourself the intricacies of the Tyranid Codex.

yeah that's kinda what I was thinking... But in my defense I don't play nids. I play eldar, a buddy of mine had an extra dex that he gave me, im not used to having so many wargear options. :p

Yeah, Tyranids have alot of wargear options.

However, only a few are really worth it...spending more points on more stuff, is usually better by far.

+BS for shooty fexes.
feeder tendrils/acid maw for stealers.
implant attack for tyrants.
shadow in the warp for tyrants.
lash whips for tyrant guard.
Leaping for warriors.
+WS and toxic miasma for CC fexes.
+attacks for heavy CC fexes (elites don't have the points).

I don't use much else. I'd rather have another brood than extra snazzy MC or 'super' gaunts (which still die to bolters en masse).

I concur with Stelek on buy more models, not more stuff on models when it comes to Tyranid lists.

I am not sold on the usefulness of without number on Gaunts and would trade that for more models in each brood personally.

Also save some points on thornback (useless in 5th edition) and a few other morphs on the big Fex... put them into another Warrior in your HQ shooty brood, I find 3 models way to easy to take down for those guys.

Winged Warriors are cool but I'd go with leaping + rending claws instead of wings & toxin sacs... they are much more effective this way and again, try to find points for a brood of 4 or more if possible. Extended carapace is also not legal on Winged models.
