I cant seem to find it in the book maybe im just stupid but my question is this

lets say i have just a regular model with no armor save If i give them a shield i get a 6+ armor save and in close combat they get another +1 so 5+ total
With an enchanted shield i get +2 to armor save (5+) do i get an additional +1 in close combat for a total of +3 to my armor (4+) or just the +2 from the e shield.

I know it says magic weapons you dont get the bonus but i dont see anything about magic shields/armor

If you could please either quote from the book or direct me to the proper page id be very appreciated thank you ;D

You're making this out to be entirely to complicated my friend. If you have a shield, you get a 6+ save in CC, thats it. If you have the enchanted shield, it gets one better and you get 5+. In order for that to stack you need to take more items such as armor, a mount, barding, and magic items. I hope I cleared it up for you. Happy Gaming!

You get +1 to armor saves for having a shield
an additional +1 in close combat (+2total)

my question is the E.shield being magical do i still get that additional +1 in close combat or is it going to work like a magic weapon where i dont get it

Assuming your model also has a hand weapon then you get an additional +1 for having a hand weapon and shield when in close combat. (Any shield works, it doesn't say non-magical or magical shields only).

So +2 from enchanted shield and an additional +1 to your armour for having a hand weapon and a shield, equals +3 total to your armour save.

As stated a few times, E.Shield will simply give you one better armor save than a regular shield in all instances. if you want to get really confused a chaos lord can get a regulard shield for 15 points or an enchanted shield for 10...
