i recently joined a league where the rules state any codex can be used to play as long as it is the most up to date version. someone else then entered his lost and damned army into the league. this got me wondering what other out of print codicies are out there that might be cool to play with or just look through to see the development of wh40k. i realize this isnt exactly an army list post but i figured this would be the most appropriate place to ask. thanks guys.
Space Wolves 13th company is pretty cool. I started a Wolves army back in the day and sold it. They have some pretty neat selections, and the fluff allows you to go crazy with conversions. I add alot of bitz from the chaos marines.
Also, Kroot is fun to paint. Gives you alot to choose from. Soft tones with bright shading, or dark tones mixed with earth colors.
Sisters of Battles are a nasty army. Rhinos are pretty resilient in the 5th ed and SoB are deadly as rapid fire range. Add some Exorcists for fire support goodness.
