The Grey Knights special rule (page 8) refers to demon packs, nurglings and demonic beast packs as getting the "sustained attack scenario special rule. Since demon packs and demonic beast packs are terms no longer used in 5th, does this rule apply to any demons other than nurglings? If so, what are the sustained attack rules for 5th? Do nurgling walk on or can they deepstrike?

I think we just gotta wait for an updated DH FAQ or a Daemon FAQ to know for sure.

During playtesting, word came down that this rule was effectively DOA and to ignore it.

Demons became far too powerful if they could be recycled, because of the nature of the missions in 5E where a late arriving unit could drop on an objective and contest it or clear it of the enemy (or just take it).

Then again, they did just rule drop pods can come in without anyone onboard........

LOL this would have helped my last week when playing daemonplayer. I guess like yak said, we will have to wait for an update.

@Smart_Alex. I heard about your game. That is what got me thinking about this issue. I would have ruled no by RAW.

As far as I know, the rule is still DOA.

I read the updated DH FAQ, doesn't seem like they are inclined to make a ruling on it?
