In exchange for 9 storm boyz, and 20 regular orks, I get one tough as nails unit.

Uhh the Nob Bikers are only tough as nails when in large groups.

That unit will eat every plasma, melta, missile launcher, and lascannon shot on the table.

It will die. Especially when you get hit with multiple shots at once, and your Warbosses can't suck up the instakill shots off the Nobs.

Personally I'd drop them, or drop something else to get your stormboyz back to 20 each.

Yeah, I'd drop one unit of stormboys and flesh out the nob bikers. More bodies, more attacks, more chances to have them do something useful.
