Here are a couple of Warzone minis I recently painted.

A Capitol corporation Covert Ops Spec.

And the first of 30 Capitol Light Infantry.

It's been around 10 years since I saw any Warzone stuff in the flesh so to speak. Looking good.

Penetrating so many secrets, we cease to believe in the unknowable. But there it sits nevertheless, calmly licking its chops.

I sold my Capitol figs a while ago. Wish I hadn't.

they look too cartoony.

i miss that game, i swear, that was the most enjoyable table top game i have ever played, even with some of the incredibly ugly minis.

Thanks for the comments guys. I missed Warzone too that's why I'm painting minis and have dug out the rules to give 'em another go. I'm finally giving the third edition of Warzone a try. If anyone is interested in looking at the rules you should check out mutantpedia.com

@smart_alex part of that is intended just like most peoples nicely painted GW minis and part is due to the lighting for the pics.

The chick maybe but the LI dude has nice muted tones and actually reminds me of a park ranger bringing the fight to those damn firebugs himself

Yeah, the chick kinda suffers from chimpy-face. But the pose and sculpt is otherwise nice. And I'm totally digging the LI's WWI Doughboy hat.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

I hadn't noticed that til you pointed it out. Now the face it gonna bug me. I'm gonna have to see if there's something I can do to minimize the chimp effect.

Thank, dude. The LI are a big part of the reason I've started working on these again. I really dig 'em too.

I played WZ many years ago, and these Capital figs are bringing a smile to my face. Nice painting on the Light infantry guy.

That's a fantastic, modern paint job on those Warzone figs! Ah, the 90s, when shoulders, breasts, hats and guns couldn't be big enough. Those were the days.

Great figs, great paint jobs.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil
