I've decided to start to branch out into Lord of the Rings and warhammer, from talking to the guys at my FLGS. I really like the modeling painting side of the hobby so I want to create a very richly themed army for both. So here are my thoughts for Lord of the Rings I am going to do Men of Minas Tirith who guard the very top level of the city. (If you ever read the Sword of Truth Series they are based off the First File) So they would be regular troopers and some guards of the citadel court, led by a converted captain to be more regal (Trimack is his name). And for Warhammer i am stuck between 3 ideas, a Nuln Empire Army, a Chrace High Elf Army led by Khoril the White Lion Special Character, or a Dark Elf Army led by the dude with the squid mask. FOr the DE army it would be the forces he led under the water to raid the sunken city, so it would be corsairs, infantry, bolt throwers modeled to be on ship decks and a war hydra sea monster. For Chrace it would be white lions, lion chariots, and the regular guys modeled to have lion cloaks. And the Empire army would be modeled to be the men and students of the gunnery college. Thoughts? what do you guys think about which Warhammer Army I should do.
