Whats the best way to kill the nightbringer

Scout Squad with Sniper Rifles.

Scouts with sniper rifles is the best way to do it, but they're really only effective against big high T multi wound models. If you want a more general use counter, take 3 predators with 3 lascannons each. Pricy, but two turns of shooting should see him auto-dead.

The best thing you can do is ignore the night bringer all together, especially if you run a shooty army option. Most every game the nightbringer won't make up his points, and you end up spending a lot of time and firepower shooting him to death. Instead work on hitting the phase out and take out warriors enmasse. The best thing you can use are str 6 infantry killer type weapons and just mow down untill phase out.

This REALLY shouldn't be in Army Lists...

That said, Kreedos has got it. "Just don't look, just don't look."

But, if you really do want it dead, d-e-d, then I suggest lootas. 15-45 str 7 shoots take it down fairly fast. if you roll max shots it should put 2.5 wounds on the beast.
