I got the new 10 man Khorne tactical squad from FW today and thinking about how to painting it.

To get some and paint them as a change of pace from never ending green browns of DG.

So I'm debating on doing the old standby of Red/gold/black and was also thinking of doing the old skool Blue/white/bloodstained style. Suggestions and votes would be great.

I don't think I've ever seen, in person, someone with 'Zerkers painted in the Pre-Heresy colors, but I think it would look rockin' and is completely opposite from the green/brown of your Death Guard.

Blood Red armour with some brown ink in the recesses to give it that dried blood look. Brass for the ornate trim and black for the gaintlets.

I've always thought the blood red and brass of Berzerkers was overdone. Personally, I think it's really hard to use that paint scheme and make them look really distinctive. The blue and white PH World Eaters-style, though, I think would look really sharp - particularly if you painted and modeled them in such a way as to emphasize that maybe this is in their pre-Heresy to post-Heresy transition.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

Major bonus that I stumbled across cards for both Mortarion and The Deathshroud
