For blood ravens fluff, play Dawn of War, or any of the expansions. I've played DoW and its expansions, and remember a few things.

I remember the blood ravens talking about their focus on collecting information and lore. They also shout about fighting for their unknown primarch. So I suppose they're trying to find out who their primarch is, since they don't know.

To represent Blood Ravens on the table, I would say you should definetely take a librarian, though other than that, I can't think of anything specific about them compaired to other marines.

Off the top of my head that's all I can think of. Play the campaign modes of the first two games for the most information. Dark crusade and Soulstorm have a different campaign set up, and don't focus on any race, so there isn't much information on the marines specifically in these later games.

I've got IG 'Crons Marines and Daemonhunters. My imperial forces tend to mix together.

Read the Dawn of war series of books aswell, they reveal some things about them. otherwsie try Wikepedia or Lexicanum.com for more information. But remember not much is known of their history, so most fluff will be 'modern'
