With Rending being nerfed, are banshees now worth using instead of Harlies? The wave serpent is now much more durable and Power weapons are pretty useful. I looked at the math and it seems point-for-point Banshees are just about on par with Harlies. Adding Doom and they get better. Plus, the Exach power Acrobatic is no longer useless. What do you guys think?

I really like them in combo with doom. They are my preferred elite choice.

Damage wise, they are more or less on par with eachother, depending on what you are trying to kill. Banshees take the cake vs terminators while quins are much better against hordes. In either case, it comes down to what you want to fight and how you want to fight them. If you are going the offensive route and you want to zoom up a squad to get in the enemy's face, then banshees in a serpent are probably the way to go. On the other hand, if you are planning on using them as a counter charge unit, the fact that quins (more or less) can't be shot before the enemy gets close makes them the better choice (and cheeper since they dont' have to buy a transport).
