Hey guys, is a seize the initiative roll a roll to go first?

The Emperors Tarot (deamon hunters) allows you to have a +1 to your roll to go first, my question is if you still fail the initial roll off, and you go to seize, do you get the +1 again?

Why not? It sounds exactly like a roll to go first!

It sounds like a roll to "Seize the Initiative" to me. But even more it sounds like another question ready for a FAQing.

Actually, Seize the initiative IS a roll to go first.
You are, currently, NOt going first... You make the roll and, if successful, you ARE going first (First turn, anyway). I don't see why someone would say it ISN'T a roll to go first.

As for the Tarot...
I'd say it's abusive to try to use it when it obviously wasn't meant for that. Wait for a FAQ or new codex before attempting to take and use it.

Does Ursarkar Creed's Master Strategist rule allow Cadian Army players (yes, all 3 of them worldwide) to always choose to go first?
