So, long story short, work has moved me out of LA and into the Phoenix area for the next 2 months. If anyone is in the area and wants to get some games going, I'd be more than happy to take this opportunity to meet some of the Dakkites that are normally out of my range. I'd also appreciate any suggestions of game stores or other locations to get games going if anyone knows of good one around here.

Where in town are you going to be staying? That will help figuring out what stores are close. My store of choice is Imperial Outpost games, which is on the west side.
Also considering joining Adeptus Arizona, which is a Arizona gaming community and forum. ( http://www.adeptusarizona.com/forums/)
Its a great place to schedule games.

I'm actually going to be in Casa Grande so that's off the south eastern side (more south than east if my map memory is correct) but I'm willing to drive a bit if it means better games.

Casa Grande, yikes!
Well Casa grande isn't considered a suburb of Phoenix, you're about 30 minutes away from the outskirts of town and about 45 minutes or so from the nearest game store. I'd recommend either Gamemasters or Game Depot.

Meh, it requires braving an hours worth of traffic to get anywhere in L.A. so I'm hardly worried about 45 min of travel on a highway that looks like it flows fairly well. We'll see if that's the case in rush hour, but from what I've seen so far, it doesn't appear to be so bad. Time will tell, but hopeful I can still get some good games in. If I hauled my armies up here for nothing I'm going to be upset.

Yeah, you're practically halfway to Tucson in Casa Grande, but considering all the LGS's in Tucson are on the south side of town, you're better off going to Phoenix.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack |

Why yes I am!
I have been to a couple of stores that would be good for you.
Game Depot in Tempe, Gamer's Inn in Mesa and a store I went to Saturday called Gamemaster Games in Gilbert that had a lot of 40K/Warhammer going on.
I do need to get some games of 40K in with my LVGT army so I know what the heck I am doing, so I am up for some games on a Sunday if you are available.

So Blackmoor, Zugbart, and I will be at the Game Depot on Sunday around noon. If anyone else is in the area and interested in getting in on the games, please come on by.
