Ive been playing Nids for awile now and I like them alot, but am looking to start my second army, Chaos Space Marines... I already put together a list but it may change on some of the answers here, here they are...

1. If I have a termie unit first and foremost can I attach my termie Sorc to that unit to be deep striked? Also if I am able to attach him to this unit and I deep strike them, once landed from the deep strike can they assualt? Kinda the chicken before the egg but if all else is good, the sorc deep strikes with the termi unit, is he able to use his lash power... then shooting phase, then assualt?

If that part is good my list will look something like...

Daemon Lord, wings, lash

Termie Sorc, lash

6 Termies

6 Noise Marines with Rhino

6 Noise Marines with Rhino

2 Oblits

And some points left over... this is mostly a 1250 list, that is more then likely the points we see played at our LFGS.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

1. The Chaos Sorcerer can be attached to a unit that is entering from Reserves via Deep Strike. They cannot assault during the turn that they Deep Strike. The Sorcerer cannot use the Lash of Submission while he is locked in combat.

Thanks Nurglitch, last bit, so lets say my termies and sorc come down via deepstrike, so as it stands this is the order, 1.lash 2.shoot/run 3.end of turn... correct? Thanks for the response!

Lash happens in the shooting phase.
If he lashes them, the unit cannot run.

So, it would go:
1)Deepstrike, 2)Lash/Shoot OR Run 3) end of turn (excluding the usage of other units).

If playing in a friendly venue, you might want to check with the other players before bringing out something as unfriendly as a Twin Lash list. Many consider it to be unsporting.

Otherwise the list looks pretty good for low points.

be also consider tri-falcon eldar/wraithlord spam/nidzilla/LR spam unsporting, but does that stop them? no, but such people get punched in the face more than most.

(as it happens ive stopped using dual lash (even lash altogether for some games) because it makes things too easy)

If we were to play each other in a tournament, not only would I table you, I would murder you, your family, every woman you ever loved and burn down your house. I mean, what's the point in winning if you allow people that don't take the game seriously to live?

Point well taken, were not playing tournies here we just play for fun mostly and I am looking more for a fluffy list then a win at all cost list, thanks for the advice on dual lash as I havent purchased anything yet and my other idea was to have a deamon weapon toting Lord, ill rewrite and look for more advice, again ~ thanks all!

MagickalMemories is correct on the order of operations.

Regarding the Lash of Submission, it ain't all that. You can't use it in close combat, so it's a waste on a Daemon Prince. It's unreliable where Psychic Hoods, Shadow in the Warp, and various other psychic protections are in play. It's also relatively short ranged, and cannot be used on vehicles. Better still, a unit can avoid being affected twice by the Lash by Going to Ground (or simply failing the pinning test).

If you're finding it makes your games too easy, then the problem is with your opponents, not the power being overwhelming.

I play against some pretty good people, and double lash is pretty dang effective. I've moved to one lash, one lord with a daemon weapon and I myself have more fun with it, just due to the increased variety. I'm about ready to move to daemon weapon lord and warp time prince, and I think that'll be a nice challenge.

40k Armies I play:
