I don't recall ever seeing a boxed set of Ogryns. The GW site only shows individuals.

There is a decent bit on the GW website on how to go about converting ogryns out of fantasy ogres, if memory serves. If you want plastic and a little project at the same time, you could also do that.

London.

As an aside, I have a thing about pronouncing 'Ogryns'. Most people pronounce the as OG-RINS.

WRONG!

Ogryns are obviously derived from Warhammer Ogres. Therefore, they should be pronounced OH-GRYNNS.

This beef stems from meeting people who say ''commisioners'' instead of commisars, and ''physic powers'' instead of ''psychic powers''.

I really should be spending my time more constructively.

*shrug* I tend to put more emphasis on the O in O-GRINS. Though I will say a lot has to do with how others say the word, and how you say it when you first see it.

GW might still be selling their Ogryn Auxilla. Includes, I believe, 1 Bone 'ead, 16 Ogryns, 1 new commisar, and a squad of guard (though perhaps only 10).

If you buy a box of the Warhammer Fantasy Ogre's, you can buy a box of them and use bits to make your ogryne into. The belly plate changed out for a backpack, a sword arm changed out for a rippergun, stuff like that.

Its a better deal then trying to buy 16 bucks each, IMO.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

...and this thread is in Introductions why?

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

Here's a group I just converted and sold if you need ideas. Ogres converted with OrK sprues and a few Chaos SM sprues. If wish to provide the funds I would gladly convert a squad for as well, just thought I'd throw that out there.
