Well after the glancing nerf and no way to take out armor >12 without heavies I had to make a list with some in there. I considered taking more Heavies but I still want to be balanced for scoring purposes. The plan is to screen the Heavies with the regular Destroyers.

The subject line says it all.
Impossible.
No Scarabs either.
Anyone hits you with CC, you're dead and you can't stop them.
This isn't even a good list in 4E....in 5E it's a case packer.

This is really tough necrons and CC don't seem to get along anyway, Scarabs are good for tying up units but are easy victory ponts. Flayed ones seem to be decent in CC but are not troops so objectives are a no go. I have made up a Monolith heavy list (from a recent thread over here somewhere) but I would not want to use it for friendly games, and I have another destroyer heavy list that is fast but had a hard time blowing up or destroying the main weapons on tanks. Basically I am trying to find a happy medium to play with locally. I know it;s going to be tough but imposible really?

From my 5E experience: Warriors are relatively useless at anything but holding an objective. Heavy Destroyers should take up your heavy support slots unless you are running a warrior heavy list. 1 unit will get wiped in 1 turn. The Deceiver is awesome, especially with a unit or 3 of scarabs to help tie up CC units. I find scarabs to be pretty worthless against MEQs, especially with the low initiative, but I have yet to play a non-MEQ/eldar with alot of scarabs. If you want to take lots of warriors, I suggest taking at least 2 monoliths, dropping the heavy destroyers and destroyers, taking some scarabs, and adding some immortals. If you play a mech list you can overwhelm the tanks with d-fields.

Alright, Thanks for the input  I have made a few different lists, this will be the one I try out next game;
Lord - Orb, Phase, Warscythe (to deal with any armor that may come my way like a drop pod with a dread)

Or I could lose the deciever and make the following;

Ok, first list: your destroyers and heavy destroyers are tied up in one squad each. They will die very easily. 2 monoliths is good and the deceiver is a nasty character, but phase out is going to be a problem for this list.
second list: again, one squad of stuff is bad for necrons. the squad of heavy destroyers will die pretty easily. either lose it completely or drop it down to 1 model so that even if your opponent kills it, you just made him waste alot of firepower.
Another thing. Scarabs cannot be taken is squads of 13. their squad cap is 10. However, it would be amazing if they did have a higher squad cap. 8 destroyers is good and so is two monoliths but I think assaulty armies will give you a very hard time.

Thanks for that, made a few adjustments, I know the Heavy Destroyers could get into trouble but I plan on screening them with the regular Destroyers untill all of the tank and other armored targets are gone.
If I did drop the Heavy squad down to one it would free up some pionts but not quite enough to make an effective Immortal squad.
