well, I like wraithguard so here goes! A bit short and unsure what to add at this point, was thinking of some shining spears or beefing some squads up and maybe adding a WS for dire avengers or dark reapers... meh, what do you guys think?

In my opinion, the Reaper Exarch should have a Tempest Launcher and Fast shot instead of his current gear. With the new blast rules, you basically point at something you want dead, and kill it. You shouldn't look to seek combat with this list; core around your Avengers and Wraithguard and counter-assault with your Harlies, Wraithlords, and Avatar. Otherwise, looking pretty solid.

I just like the EML flexibility on the dr exarch, personal preference I guess. As far as the army playstyle, pretty straitforward, just dance around table to try to get a person into a good round of wraithguard shooting and counter assaulting and so on. Only thing that really worries me is taking a bunch of ap3 pie plates to the face but, *shrug* hopefully fortune+conceal is forgiving!

That TL Exarch kit Burning Star IV describes is indeed powerful.

At this points level, you need more Bright lances and for each Wraithguard unit you need a Harlequin unit.

Fearless wounds care not about your toughness, and WG don't win CC.

hmm, I suppose I could try the tempest launcher, never used it.

Perhaps I add brightlances instead of EML to my wraithlords and ws or add a vyper or guardian defender squad with a BL?

In regards to more cc, I hear ya, how about another smallish squad of harlequins and I drop the firedragons for banshees in a ws? Dunno ho wmany brightlances I could need as ni a few turns my wraithguard I figure will be in range to take the tanks out. CC and tons of AV 14 pieplates are the only thing I kinda worry about so the BL and cc support advice is warmly recieved.

drop the dragons and wave serpent, you should have enough anti-tank when they get close. Reaper launcher and crack shot plays to their strength, but the EML makes you waste shots. IMHO the warlocks should have enhance, so the wraithguard have a chance in CC. You really don’t need a five up cover save when so many different saves are available. With all open points, get CC specialists. I prefer scorpions and banshees to harlies, but that is a question of preference. If used correctly, you can also use DAs as a CC unit, although this should only be used in dire circumstances.

List updated to reflect changes, added 1 more firedragon (to make squad 6 strong), added another 8 man harlequin squad, dropped dire avengers, added brightlances to wraithlords and added fast shot to dark reaper exarch.

I like the EML on the dr exarch simply because sometimes there are no good infantry targets to shoot at and blowing up a transport can be worth more sometimes than taking out a squad. I also like fire dragons because I can zoom up, pop a leman russ on turn two and that would be 96 points well spent imo.
