Subject: Hit & Run + Fearless = ??

Can someone clarify for me how hit & run interacts with fearless - Assuming my lictor has survived his secret deployment, or my opponent has been generous to me, how does combat work out?
Do I take excess wounds from my lack of morale check or does hit & run kick in before this happens?

I beleive that hit and run is taken at the end of the combat- so the number of wounds you lost by would cause that many armour saves- then you do you hit and run move.
I am curious that this could ever actually happen- a two wound lictor model who does zero wounds and takes only one from the opponent?
It seems to me it would be a rare occurance.
Correct me if im wrong- i hope i answered the question.

It could also happen (and is more likely) with a daemon prince of slaanesh or a keeper of secrets. We played it just like that, lost combat by 2, took 2 saves and then hit and ran.

The daemon prince has hit and run? or just the slaanesh one? I've never seen that in game...
Also--
I suppose it is much more possible in a comabt with gaunts or other nids involved. I hadn't thought of that. Thanks skkipper.

You can buy it as an upgrade for a Slaanesh daemon prince.

Hit and Run allows you to try to leave combat at the end of the assault phase. You still need to completely resolve all of the close combats (win/loss, morale checks, wounds from losing and being fearless, etc., etc.) and after all of that's done, then you can use your Hit and Run ability.
